suprising:
1. elephants walking down the streets at night
2. the urge to go pee at 5 am
3. outback steakhouse
4. no toilet paper usage other than drying off...
5. rat in restaurant (save that for dinner!)
exciting:
1. tomorrow is our first day at NightLight
2. trying to speak thai (emphasis on "trying")
3. eating cow pot gai (thats my american spelling)
4. meeting the Perry family (who are all amazing)
5. being in a foriegn country with MEGAN!!!
scary:
1. rats (no one seems to mind them running around the restaurant)
2. riding on the back of a motorcycle taxi
3. The traffic
4. The sheer volume of people (about 15 million in Bangkok)
5. The possibility of getting lost (thankfully we have cell phones now!!!)

and tony, i heard that you are riding motortaxis to and from the skytrain sometimes.. sweet. thats how kindsey and i got many places when we were in chiang rai.. remember to always get on from the left side of the bike, so that you don't burn your leg on the tail pipe.. if you start to pay attention, maany many thais have burns on their right leg from the tail pipe!
